Morining came quickly for me. Dad yelling hey buddy time to get up! I rolled over in bed. Then mom came walking in to my room. Jimmy, honey time to get up ...today is the big day ..Moving day retorted mom. Get up andgo help your father cook breakfast continued mom. Okay, mom I am up replied Jimmy. Slowly I dragged my sleep little head into the kitchen. So since we are moving and cooking is not a option,let's go down to the corner bakery and get some donuts replied dad. Really!!! I replied Yes, buddy go get dressed andget your shoes and socks remarked dad. In no time, we were standing in the corner bakery with my nose stick against the glass display case. I want a chocolate one,a sprinkled one and a long john I replied to my dad. Okay buddy and I will have a dozen cake donuts and two large coffees black continued dad to the cashier at the shop. Dad I remarked is today really the day were moving to the country and leaving the big city for good? Yes son replied dad the day has finally come . First thing Jimmy remarked dad we can get the ball and bat out and you can hit a few balls. But dad, I cried mom and you grounded me from playing ball and hitting flys remember...I broke Miss Lanes car windshield? Yes I know son, but in the country there is plenty of space to hit fly balls and there are no cars around at our country sde home remarked dad. Just then dad stopped the moving truck and said come son let's get back to the apartment and give the movers a hand. Okay dad I replied as i started skipping back to the apartment,,,wow I will be able to play ball again. As we walked into the apartment, mom greeted us both and said are there any donuts left for me guys and may I please have my coffee. I handed mom my Sprinkled donut and dad gave mom her coffee and two cake donuts. Just then there was a knock out the door. Coming yelled my dad. Opening the door, dad said hey Mr Lee and into the apartment marched to young men with dollies for loading boxes. Mr Lee scanned the room and said I believe we can get all this in the truck and make just one trip. Great replied mom.. that is good news and such a load off my mind. Two or three hours go by and Finally Mr Lee says to my Dad, last box and we are done . It was my box with X on it with my imaginary sibling. I said Mr Lee take good care of it because it has my sibling tiny the elephant,squeaks the rubber mouse and Robbie the robot. Sure thing kid replied Mr Lee the box can ride up front with the boys and me. Okay everyone grab your suitcases and it is off to the train station for our ride to the country and our new home replied mom. I will grab your Computer replied dad to mom. With our suitcase in hand we all three walked out of the small big city apartment that had been my only home . Everyone remarked dad time to wave goodbye to the apartment as we stepped out the front door into the hallway. I will run the key down to Miss Lanes replied mom and meet both of down by the water fountain on the street corner. Jimmy grab my hand and let 's go replied dad has we made the long walk down the stairs to the street. When we got outside I suddenly felt funny.. a tear was in my eye...Are you okay son ?? asked dad. Yeah just thinking about all the great times we had here at the big city apartment. I replied. We will make happy new ones in the country replied dad. Here replied Dad throw a penny in the water fountain one more time remarked dad handing me the shiney new penny from his pocket. Make a wish replied dad as I threw the penny into the water fountain. So mom watched me throw the penny and asked me" what did you wish for dear? I replied as we walked to the train Oh IT WAS JUST A DREAM...
