So last week my dad came home late from work. Mom and me thought it was just traffic and dad stopping to get smokes. But no, Dad walks into the small third story apartment and says family "it was just a dream but tomorrow will be our last day in the big city we are moving to the country. My mouth dropped! My mom,Mary you got that promotion dear...don't keep me on pins and needles out with the details Bill! Well says my dad Mr Cigar walked in from the Chicago office and walled straight over to my desk. Bill says Mr Cigar I think its time for you and your family to move to the country and manage the countryside real estate branch in Fox county. I said great when do I start Mr. Cigar. Now replied Mr. Cigar I need there Monday morning bright and early. But dad I said today is FridayI that's in two days. I will not be able to tell all my schools friends bye. Great! replied mom but we have a million things to do to get ready to move to the country. I will start the list continued mom. Awesome replied my dad I know we can all pitch in and get the move hurddle done. Then it hit me...this was really going to happen ...we as a family were finally going to leave the city. It was just a dream floating around our house for as long as my seven year old mind could remember. Mom! Mom! I need a box right a way I said for my siblings tiny, squeaks and Robbie. I do not want to leave them here in the big city and get lost. For it was just a dream that they would live in our country house safely in a barn or basement with plenty of room to roam around.Tiny always said it was very confining to live on a book shelf. Robbie said to me Jimmy I am going to fall off the book shelf and break one of my limbs off. Squeaks always said that his biggest fear was being left on the book shelf all by himself for days on end because he is so quiet and small. To me a seven year old lad it was just a dream to finally be moving to the country. All I have ever known is the big city and all the noise and people always rushing somewhere. I wonder if that means I would not be alone at home by myself after school. My mother was a magazine column writer..."Miss Organize " was her blog In the Big city magazine. I always heard her say that she could work from anywhere in the country and not just a big city...a small country town or village would do nicely. I just need an office and my laptop computer with internet conncetion replied my mother to my dad. Scratch that item off the list...replied mom the magazine will give me a desk and a chair and I already have my laptop computer. I was not allowed to play with mom's laptop . Robbie the robot love my mother's computer. It was just a dream of his to become a real space bot and a laptop computer was very much needed to make his dream come true of outspace travel. Now Jimmy replied mom Robbie and you are not permitted to use my laptob no excuses said my mother. And if you get any ideas that somehow the laptop is one of your new toys well continued mom it was just a dream. Honey replied my dad I am caling the moving company. Okay dear..be sure and asked for packing wrap and boxes for us to have saturday morning remarked mom. Jimmy , here Dear I just found the perfect box for your three siblings continued mom. Great I replied running over to mom and grabbing it. I am going to go pack them NOW. Okay son, I am going to scratch them off the list replied mom. Running into my room and grabbing all three of them off the book shelf. All three of them yelled "Jimmy what is going on?" Guys replied Jimmy we are moving to the country! No way replied Robbie the robot. Don't leave me replied squeaks the rubber mouse. But it was just a dream replied tiny the elephant. I have sat on the book shelf for so long with no hope and no dreams ... can this be really coming true Jimmy? remarked tiny the elephant. Look all three of you replied Jimmy I have the perfect box to pack all three of you for the move to the country!! All of you can travel safely together and no be lefted trapped in the big city remarked Jimmy. I am first shout tiny! Hurry Jimmy put us all in the box replied Robbie the robot. I want to go now replied squeaks the rubber mouse...IT WAS JUST A DREAM to breathe fresh country air and live in a barn replied tiny. Okay replied Jimmy as he wrapped all three in his old t-shirts and put the neatly in the box..next stop guys the country remarked Jimmy. Boy replied Jimmy IT WAS JUST A DREAM...and now my family and me are moving to the country!!
