As he starts walking, he looks up and realizes people walking the streets but they appear to be sluggish, decaying from the inside out, but they are not attacking anyone; they just seem tired, as if they can drop at any moment. He looks up and sees some of the villages are on fire. They see a few more trying to capture some neighbors who seem to not be affected by whatever was happening.  Midas recognizes her and decides to help.

“What’s going on?”  Midas inquired.

“I’m not sure. These intruders suddenly appeared, barging in houses and setting them on fire. It appears as if they were looking for something. After a quick search they would leave and set  the house on fire. The robot helpers in the area didn't respond either, It seems they’re offline.”

This didn’t surprise Midas.  He saw this coming years ago,not only through the push in technological advancement, but in the multiple warnings from Hecate and Source. In fact, he always believed it would be the robots who would end up causing this destruction. Nonetheless, these intruders were obviously not from here. Midas looked off in the distance toward the city and saw multiple aircrafts in the sky. They were black and red with what appeared to be a bull skull with horns painted on the side. This was an invasion but from where, from who?

“Did they say anything?”

“Something about the defectives. I believe they’re referring to us chosen ones who are immune to the virus,” she recalled.

“ I have to check on the King.”

“Go ahead, there are more of us in the area. I'll head out to check on them. We’ll regroup and protect the area.” she assured

Midas nods and turns the other way as he and Apollo continue to make their way to the castle and have flashbacks to how Japan was before the chaos. He recalls first moving into the house in the hills away from the people and how quiet and natural it felt. He then recalls how the robots began to make more of an appearance in Japan at first as little helpers, then the sudden surge of human-like androids that began to blend into society, as guides, grocery store workers, home aides, even servers at restaurants and local clubs. Not too long after people also started having surgery replacing body parts with robot appendages. This had been around for some time in the U.S. but it suddenly seemed to play a huge part in the average life of humans now. It almost seemed like they were doing it completely for recreation now.

He then thinks about the invasion and what that meant. He recalls how long it took him to wake up. Two days ago Midas decided to go to a bar with someone he met after months of being begged to get a taste of the nightlife they had to offer. Midas had only been training and resting for the couple years he was there. Midas also didn’t enjoy going to the club either. He didn’t find anything they had to offer enticing, but Midas figured it would be good to go out and unwind a little bit after working so hard for so long. They meet in the club and Midas recalls the Japanese man known as Choi sitting in vip waiting for Midas. He remembers having a brief conversation before the drinks were brought out by the robot server. Midas then recalled things got blurry from there. Midas recalls taking a shot and soon after, Choi’s voice became inaudible. He was drugged. He remembers getting glimpses of seeing people’s energy then seeing figures in the crowd of people staring at him. The last thing Midas remembers is getting up and walking home. He made it about a mile before he recalled Apollo sitting waiting for him before he blacked out. His memories end there. As Midas approaches the palace he can see several spaceships out front, compact but big enough to fit 5 to 15 people. It’s fairly quiet despite the attacks going on all around the city. As Midas walks closer he sees two of the guards at the front were killed. It was only confirmation they entered the palace and the King was potentially in danger. Midas immediately makes a direct shot for the throne room.
