She answered a phone call from her own number , as she brought the phone closer to her ear , hand shaking , breath shallow . She takes one huge gulp voice trembling and says hello? Heavy breathing echoes on the other end , her palms start sweating , her whole body starts shaking . Who was this she pondered, as she mustered enough courage , she repeats hello? The phone goes silent for 10 seconds and then a high pitched scream , so terrifying it would make anyone's blood run cold . As tears stream down her face she says in a heightened voice please leave me alone and hangs up . She then goes and makes sure all the windows and doors are locked , as she checks the last window her phone vibrates . She has a panicked curiosity, she grasps her phone tight and proceeds to bring it to her eye level . As she unlocks her phone she has a single text message, shaking and almost in a petrified state clicks on the message and what she reads makes her stop dead in her tracks . It says look in the closet . As her face turns white , still shaking with pure terror , she proceeds to the closet behind her . As she reaches for the handle her phone vibrates again , at this phone she figures what's the worse that can happen , so she checks her phone , the message says not that closet , the one in the hallway . Confused and scared she thinks how did they know I checked this one . She slowly peaks her head around the door frame and looks down the hallway . The closet that requires a key to enter is slightly ajared, now her flight or fight kicks in . She proceeds to make a run for the stairs , at this point her phone rings. She stops dead in her tracks and looks down . It's her number again , she thinks this has to be a joke because it's her number . So she answers it but this time she's acting not scared , with a bold voice says who is this . A man answer with a voice so tired and creepy and says it's the man you ran over last night and dragged me under your car to your home . As she hears this she drops the her phone and slowly turns towards the hallway closet . As she peaks around the corner she sees a shriveled hand let go of the door frame and slowly go back into the darkness. She starts thinking I hit a deer it wasn't a man , it couldn't of been . Fear stricken she walks up the remaining stairs and turns towards the hallways closet . The power goes out , and she starts to hyperventilate. She feels something on her shoulder and turns white as a ghost . Oh my god she says over and over in her head . As she slowly turns her head toward her shoulder she sees the same shriveled hand grasping it . She then faints , some time passes and there is light peaking over the balcony of her stairs , the sun softly touches her face , she comes to and immediately looks at the closet . It's locked , she then looks at her caller log it's empty as is her text messages . She still has this uneasy feeling something is still watching her . Struck with curiosity she turns on the news to see if anyone was involved in a hit and run last night . As she searches through all the news channels she finds it . The news reporter tells how a 92 year old man was savagely struck by a vehicle as shown on a persons camera on their house . She starts sobbing and says i didn't know . As she is sobbing the news reporter then says no trace of his body is found only the blood streaks . She immediately turns white , proceeds to get off the couch and make her way towards the garage. As she opens the garage door she sees the severly damaged front of her car , with her smashed windshield. As she approaches her car she sees blood that has dripped over night and somewhat dried on the concrete floor. She slowly looks under her car and sees nothing . Confused she stands back up and looks around, no sign of the old man . So she thinks maybe it wasn't her , maybe she did hit a deer . As she collects herself she proceeds to get ready to take her car into the mechanic , she tells them it was a deer and they agree to fix her car . They tell her to wait in the waiting area . As she sits there a man approaches her and says mam can you come with me , she looks up and it's the mechanic. As she follows him to her car he says I'm afraid I'm going to have to call the police , why her voice trembled . As he goes towards the opposite side of her car he opens the back door and she hears a thud , he says this is why . She approaches the same side as him and sees the 92 year old man half out of her car , nearly decapitated and missing a leg . She screams and says i thought it was a deer . The end .
